Life on Mars is an American version of the BBC series of the same name. It was picked up by ABC on May 13, 2008 and is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television and ABC Studios. The series will be aired on ABC Thursday at 10pm EST in the fall of 2008. Based on the hit UK series, Life on Mars tells the story of a 21st century detective who, after being involved in a car accident, finds himself in the 1970s.
